Neil Young :

1970 - 02-25  Ludlow´s Garage, Cincinatti, OH

16 tracks. A fantastic performance by Neil and Crazy Horse in their early days together. The acoustic set includes a wonderful version of the Buffalo Springfield song "Broken Arrow" and a lovely performance of "The Old Laughing Lady." The second set has a great, long jam on "Down by the River.

Front, Back

1970 - 12-05 "Carnegie Hall Show", December 4,  Carnegie Hall, New York

13 tracks (Setlist says 20 but Vinyl album had only 13). . See review from the Old Grey Cat

Accoustic solo show from vinyl source. Rare performance of 'Expecting To fly' and very rare accoustic versions of otherwise electric songs like 'Down by The River', Cinnamon Girl' and 'The loner'. Neil was in a talk-active mood here. The exact date is a bit unsure. Some sources say Dec. 5th, others claim Dec.4th, late show. Sound not so good, and a lot of Neil talk, but anyway the best of my bootlegs

Artwork is waiting for scan.

1971 - 01-26 Rocky Mountain Review, Boulder Colorado

11 tracks, Probably not the complete show (complete setlist is uncertain). This one is clearly from vinyl because there's the typical  scratching you hear from those old fashioned albums. Acoustic (piano/guitar) concert. Fun when Neil want the public to sing with along with Sugar mountain.

1974 - 05-16 "Citizen Cane Junior Blues", Bottom Line, New York

11 tracks. Excellent and extraordinary recording of a one-of solo show in a small venue. Just a few days before Neil joined up again with CS&N for their tour. Lot's of first versions of songs from 'On The Beach' and (believe it or not) Neil playing 'greensleeves'! The only known performance of Motion pictures and a very rare solo acoustic performance of Pushed it over the end, Revolution blues and On the beach

1985 -Summer, "Old Ways III", Nashville TN

18 tracks. This is an interesting collection that just surfaced in 1995. Here we have what amounts to what Neil gave to Geffen Records for the _second_ time. He rejected this effort at country music as well as Neils first effort (Geffen finally accepted the third effort, though it, arguabley, is the worst). The Old Ways songs (tracks 1 - 10) were done in Nashville in 1985. The other tracks are an assortment: I Wonder Why and Raining In Paradise are from some time around 1981, the last song is from the 1992 Bridge and features Elton John, and the other tracks (13 - 17) are from Chicago in 1976.
